Prima Probiotic in shrimp aquaculture is a live microorganism product that provides benefits for shrimp and the pond environment.
Benefits
Improves Water Quality
- Breaks down leftover feed and waste in the pond, reducing ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate levels.
- Maintains microbial balance in the water, preventing the growth of pathogenic bacteria.

Dosage and Application
For pond water (spread evenly across the pond surface):
- 0–60 days: 2 litres of Prima Probiotic per hectare per week
- >60 days: 2 litres of Prima Probiotic per hectare every 4 days
For feed mixing: applied at every feeding.
- Mixing ratio: 10 ml Prima Probiotic per 3 kg of feed
- Example: if daily feed requirement is 300 kg, then the probiotic dosage is
300kg/3 kg x 10 ml = 1000ml (1 litre)
